Sweet Potato Bread

I made this bread this afternoon. I poured part of the batter into this Bundt pan to share with a friend. I poured the rest into a loaf pan. I thought it tasted pretty good, especially the nuts! This and That Thursday: Weigh-in and Product Review - Kettle Brand Baked Potato Chips

15 by the 15th Connie This week: 2 lbs.!! Total Lost: 9 lbs.!! It is encouraging to have pasted the halfway mark! I still have 6 pounds to go to reach my goal and only 6 weeks to lose them!  I've got my fingers crossed!! It's not too late to join us in losing a few pounds before the holidays. Leave a comment or send me an email at: mealplanwithconnie@att.net You can weigh-in any day you like. My weigh-in day will be Thursdays. Product Review: Kettle Brand Baked Potato Chips These are my FAVORITE baked potato chips.  I actually like them better than regular chips.  20 chips have 3 grams of fat and 120 calories.    They come in bar-b-que flavored, too!! So far, I've only found the baked variety of these at Kroger in our area. You do have to look closely before buying. There's very little difference in the packaging of this brand's "regular" chips and their baked chips.

Cowboy BBQ Pizza

This pizza is easy and good!  I just used a package of my precooked chicken from the freezer and add Corky's bar-b-que sauce.  The prepacked bar-b-que is very easy to keep in the freezer, and is on sale often. Tuesday - Cowboy BBQ Pizza 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough 1container (18 ounces) refrigerated or frozen bar-b-que meat with sauce ¼ - ½  cup chopped cooked bacon (4 - 8 slices) (I used precooked.) 2cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese (I used 2%.) Heat oven to 400 degrees.  Pat pizza dough onto pizza pan. Spread bar-b-que mixture over dough. Top with bacon. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is light golden brown and cheese is melted.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars

I have made these for years, and they are a family favorite!  When I first started making these yummy little bars, store-brand cookie dough was only 99 cents a roll.  Now it's twice that price!!  Pillsbury puts out loads of coupons for their cookie dough.  As noted below, you aren't limited to using chocolate chip cookie dough!  Any flavor will work!   These bars are quick and easy to make and yummy to eat. I don't make them very often, because we can't seem to resist them.  The whole pan of treats just seems to quickly disappear!!! Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars 2 rolls chocolate chip cookie dough (or any variety of cookie dough you like) Blend together the following: 2 eggs, at room temperature 1 cup granulated sugar 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
