Sweet Potato Bread

I made this bread this afternoon. I poured part of the batter into this Bundt pan to share with a friend. I poured the rest into a loaf pan. I thought it tasted pretty good, especially the nuts! We had a slice of this with our supper instead of the planned Fried Apples.   Sweet Potato Bread Sweet Potato Bread 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup butter, melted 4 eggs 3 1/2 cups sifted flour 3 cups sugar 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon 2/3 cup water 2 cups cooked sweet potatoes ( I used a 16 ounce can. ) 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional) Preheat oven to 350°F. This and That Thursday: Weigh-in and Product Review - Kettle Brand Baked Potato Chips

15 by the 15th Connie This week: 2 lbs.!! Total Lost: 9 lbs.!! It is encouraging to have pasted the halfway mark! I still have 6 pounds to go to reach my goal and only 6 weeks to lose them!  I've got my fingers crossed!! It's not too late to join us in losing a few pounds before the holidays. Leave a comment or send me an email at: mealplanwithconnie@att.net You can weigh-in any day you like. My weigh-in day will be Thursdays. Product Review: Kettle Brand Baked Potato Chips These are my FAVORITE baked potato chips.  I actually like them better than regular chips.  20 chips have 3 grams of fat and 120 calories.    They come in bar-b-que flavored, too!! So far, I've only found the baked variety of these at Kroger in our area. You do have to look closely before buying. There's very little difference in the packaging of this brand's "regular" chips and their baked chips.
