Baked Cheese Dip

Over the next few days, I thought I 'd share some of our favorite appetizer recipes.  We love appetizers, and Baked Cheese Dip is one of Larry's favorites!  I’ve made several versions of this through the years.  We like this one best.   If you aren't an artichoke fan, leave them out and use two chopped onions instead of just the one called for in the recipe. Baked Cheese Dip 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded Monterrey Jack cheese 1 cup Parmesan cheese 1 cup mayonnaise 1 small onion, chopped fine 1 clove garlic, minced a dash or two of hot sauce (optional) 1 can artichokes, drained and chopped 1 (10-inch) round bread loaf, hollowed out (reserve the “lid”) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first eight ingredients and spoon into bread bowl.  Put “lid” on top. Wrap in foil and bake until dip is hot, about 45 minutes or so. Serve with crackers and bread cubes from where you hollowed out the loaf. You can dispense with the bread bowl and just put the dip mixtu
