Guilt-free (or NOT!) Bananas Foster

This is one of my favorite "virtually-fat-free" desserts! (A medium banana has .4 grams of fat, of which .1 is saturated.) It's not calorie free, so you do have to watch the portion size. But it is really good!! Of course, the full-fat version is extra good! Enjoy! Guilt-free Bananas Foster Guilt-free Bananas Foster 2 large firm ripe bananas -- peeled 4 tablespoons brown sugar Butter spray (I used Parkay.) Slice bananas into 1/2-inch rounds. Coat sauté pan really well with butter spray; add sliced bananas and brown sugar. Cook on medium heat, tossing bananas occasionally, until bananas become slightly translucent and the sugar has melted. Spoon over angel food cake or fat-free ice cream. Full-fat version : Melt 2 tablespoons butter in sauté pan rather than spraying with butter spray. Continue with recipe as written. This is great spooned over ice cream, pound cake, French toast, pancakes and waffles!
