White Texas Sheet Cake

This cake is easy to make, and all the ingredients can usually be found in my pantry and fridge. It was well liked by the Sunday School Crew! Larry and the kids loved it too!   White Texas Sheet Cake White Texas Sheet Cake For a nice change, substitute almond extract for the vanilla. Cake ingredients: 1 cup butter 1 cup water 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups white sugar 2 eggs ½ cup sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ½ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda Icing ingredients: ½ cup butter ¼ cup milk 4½ cups confectioners' sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup chopped nuts (optional, but good!) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat a jelly roll pan (10½x15½ x1-inch) with cooking spray. Combine flour, sugar, soda, and salt. Set aside. In a large saucepan, bring 1cup butter and water to a boil.
