Strength is the capacity to break a chocolate bar into four pieces with your bare hands - and then eat just one of the pieces.

We enjoyed the beautiful fall week-end. Larry was off, and it was so nice just to have some time together, although we all had a bit of work to do. It was a fun and productive weekend! We had a few changes in our meal plan. Larry made "Larry Burgers" for us on Saturday. He made 8 burgers, so we're having the rest for supper tonight. We love chili burgers! So, my plans are to put together a pan of chili to make chili burgers tonight.
Because Larry offered to cook burgers for us, I didn't make Emily's Creamy Beef Spaghetti Skillet, but my friend, Donna, said she did and got good reviews from her family. I'll have to try this recipe another week! For more great recipes, be sure to visit Emily's Marvelous Recipes. Lots of great recipes there!
Donna also told me she had made a few batches of the Apple Muffins with Crumb Topping. She made some for her own family, a friend and for a school group. She said she had received several compliments on them. Donna is the type who not only thinks of others, but she puts actions to her thoughts and prayers. Last week, Brother Ken began a great sermon series on missions. We can do missions across the street, across the country, around the world, or just across the hall to our own dear family members. I encourage you to reach out to someone with the love of Christ through your kitchen this week!
Many blessings and happy cookin' ~ Connie
Here's a quick and easy little recipe that would be great for sharing! I made a batch of these on Saturday. We all really liked them, but they were not good for my diet!!!
Crispy Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
1 package (11 ounces) Nestle Peanut Butter and Milk chocolate Morsels
½ cup peanut butter
5 cups corn flakes cereal
Coat a 9x9 pan with cooking spray; set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl, microwave chocolate morsels and peanut butter on high for 2 minutes or until melted. Stir until smooth. Add corn flakes cereal. Stir until evenly coated. Using a wooden spoon or a spatula coated with cooking spray, spoon and press mixture evenly into prepared pan. Cut into squares when cool. Store in an airtight container.
My, those look scrumptious! My family would gobble them up in a hurry! Good to find you over at Our Krazy Kitchen this morning! Have a great day.Tell Donna I am so glad her family enjoyed my recipe! :)
